Mini Woodturning Lathe

A high quality mini woodworking lathe ideal for the production of smaller pieces or where the workshop size does not allow for a longer bed. Recommended for Pen Turning.

The bed, headstock and tailstock are all constructed from cast iron to give vibration free running but the compact size means the weight is still manageable and the lathe can be removed from the bench when not in use.
Electronic variable speed control allows the ideal speed to be quickly selected for jobs of any diameter. The cam lock banjo design is easy to use, and when coupled with the round bar tool rest is a winning combination. The tool rest cross bar can be removed from the stem to change the length of the cross bar. Compatible with the Robert Sorby range of cross bars.

We also now include a handy storage rack to keep centres, faceplates and service tools in one place and ready to go.

Supplied with four prong drive centre, revolving tail centre, 150mm (6″) tool rest cross bar with 12mm diameter stem, 75mm (3″) diameter faceplate, 1.9m power cable and UK 3 pin plug.

See our Lathe Chucks W810 and VIPER2 which are most suitable for use with this machine.

My wife and I are producers at our local Country Market. She sells cards and jewellery and I sell pens, light pulls and other turned items. I wanted a mini lathe to be able to take with me occasionally so I bought one of these. I mounted it onto a board which is then clamped in my workmate. When I sit and turn customers have been fascinated by what I am doing and I have sold many pens etc this way. All in all one of the best buys I have ever made. Good reliable machine, quiet and powerful enough for my needs.
