When buying goods and services on the internet, the consumer is entering a legally binding contract. In all cases UK law is the applicable law.
Right to refuse to supply
Charnwood retain the right to supply or refuse to supply any person or persons or company with goods.
Retention of title
All goods remain the property of Charnwood until payment has been received by the company in full.
Payment must be recieved before goods are despatched. Payment will be accepted by Sagepay, Paypal, cheque, BACS, bank transfer and credit/debit cards.
The price payable for the goods shall be the ruling price as published in the price list current at date of despatch of the goods.
We can deliver to all addresses within the british isles. Deliveries to most areas are sent on a next working day service (does not include Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays) If a next day service is not available we will use an economy service which may take up to 5 days. All deliveries will be charged according to weight and destination. It is the customers responsibilty to ensure they have selected the correct delivery area. In cases where the wrong area is selected, we may have to refuse the order.
Charnwood offers a delivery service via independent carriers. It is the recipients responsibility to check that the number of parcels is correct and that they are in satisfactory condition before signing the carriers consignment note. You may ask the driver to wait while you inspect the goods if necessary.
Any problems must be noted on the carriers consignment note. Once the carriers note is signed, goods are accepted as received in good condition and Charnwood cannot accept any claims. If there is any discrepancy, the statement 'received in good condition' must be deleted. To sign the note 'unchecked' is not recognised by the carriers, their insurers or ourselves. Claims for transit damage or short deliveries must also be notified to Charnwood within 48 hours of receiving the goods, responsibility will not be accepted for claims of non delivered or damaged goods after this time.

Back order Policy
Charnwood operate a back order policy. We do not operate a supply or cancel system. Any order received for items which are not immediately available from our stock will be backordered. Backordered items will be despatched as soon as stock arrives, we will notify the customer as this happens.
Charnwood does not take responsibility for losses or damage which may occur due to the none performance of any of the goods supplied. Nor inconvenience caused by delayed deliveries.
All goods supplied conform to current European manufacturing standards and where appropriate carry the CE mark.
