Mokuba E1 Japanese 2 Way Nail Punch 160mm Length

A two way nail bar made by Japanese manufacturer Mokuba.
This very tough tool is cast from hardened premium quality tool steel.

Using a nail punch to drive home small nails and tacks allows the nail head to be sunk flush in to the wood without any contact to the surrounding surface, as would be the case when a hammer alone is used.
The nail driver can be used in the long or the short side to gain access to tight spots. The two nail punch heads both feature a slightly concave end to allow nails to be easily located and stop them from slipping.

The striking face of the driver also doubles as a small hammer head which can be used to replace delicate nails and tacks.

Down the centre of the tool is a groove which can be used as an anvil for straightening nails or tacks which are to be reused on the project.
