W619 Table saw is a compact, high quality table saw with a quiet induction motor. The main table is precision ground cast iron, and has 2 fabricated side extension tables to give impressive cutting capacities, perfect for the smaller workshop. The induction motor turns the blade via a drive belt which reduces noise and increases accuracy. Blade height and blade angle are controlled using 2 separate hand wheels. The sliding carriage, included as standard, is a joy to use with a cast iron bed travelling on 4 bearing guides. Any angle can be set on the long support fence. A screw clamp holds the work secure and a flip over length stop is fitted for repeat cuts.

Supplied with 18 tooth TCT sawblade, sliding carriage, extension tables, floor stand, adjustable feet, push stick, 2.0m power cable and UK 3 pin plug.

There are 3 ways to configure the table saw:
The sliding carriage can be fitted on either side of the blade so that you can work on the left or right.
If you are not using the sliding carriage, you can fit one extension table on either side of the blade.

For compact storage the extension tables and sliding carriage can be quickly removed, (2 minutes). They reassemble without any further setting up required.

It is highly recommended that a dust extractor is used at all times with this saw to prevent the harmful build up of dust and chips. The hose kit supplied collects dust from the saw guard and takes it to the single 100mm diameter hose connection point at the back of the machine.

Please note: It is not possible to use a stacked dado set with this saw.

  1. David Garrod

Bought the saw a couple of days ago from Charnwood. The service was outstanding , I found it really easy to put together just follow the pictures. There are only two things that I have found so far that need a bit of modification .
1 The dust collection at the bottom of the blade is not great, possibly an inspection hatch on the bottom side panel so that it is easy to clean out.
2 The bolt directly above the starter that holds the front aluminium guide rail could be repositioned as it is very difficult to get a spanner in to tighten it.
Apart from that it is an excellent saw and I am sure my neighbours like it as well as my old one was like a jet engine taking off.

I live in Birmingham and I needed to see this in the flesh so to speak, so it was worth the trip up to Leicester to see it. Best investment I’ve made for a long time. The delivery chap bought it down the path and managed to place the really heavy package in my shed which highly delighted me. (Worth a ahem(drink for him). I spent a good afternoon putting it together. The instructions were pretty straight forward. It rips wood like a hot knife through butter, even with the blade that came with. Unfortunately needed a finer blade for cross cutting. But beware I bought a cheaper blade which turned out to be slightly thinner than the riving knife, so only certain thickness blades will do the job. But all in all it is a fantastic machine and thanks to Charnwood for all the help they gave me over the phone. Nice after sales service.

  3. Mark Smith

overall this is a great saw, i changed the blade from a rip saw to a smooth cut blade and amazing its as quite as my standard drill, its a very fast cut and so smooth. 2 slight down points had to put a bit of corking under the table top next to the blade to get it flat for smaller item and had to extend the length of the slider as it only goes to 800mm. 5 stars is not enough 10 is perfect

  4. Warren Campbell

This is a quality cast iron saw table at a very low price. With it’s smooth and precise cutting I have had hours of fun already. Downside to the table was the mitre fence tighteners as the small cog inside is made of plastic and when I was re-positioning this and tightening it up, the cog teeth burred and from day 1 I have had to use a pair of pliers to fasten down my mitre fence.

  5. Alan Burton

I bought this saw having seen it at a show. I have removed the side fence as this is not an accurate item and I use the mitre gauge as a square cut item. I would have liked a measuring gauge for the side fence. All in all I’m happy I bought it, but I feel somethings could be better.
