About Charnwood 100TUBE Clear PVC Tube 100mm (4″) Diameter x 915mm (36″) Length

100mm (4″) Diameter Clear Rigid Tube, 915mm (36″) length.

Constructing your dust extraction system out of rigid tube is more expensive than flexible hose. However, the smooth internal bore reduces the airflow resistance, by up to 10 times, compared to flexible hose. Using sections of tube can therefore make an extraction ducting system much more efficient and improve performance. The tube can easily be cut down to the desired length.

If your extractor is powerful enough to reach the furthest part of your system, then using flexible hose everywhere is fine. If you are approaching the limits of your extractors reach, then using smooth tube will help keep the airflow as high as possible. We also think it looks nicer, particularly when wall mounted.

There are two types of wall bracket available. For a permanent fixing use the C-bracket, product code 100WH. To allow the tube to be removed from the wall use J-bracket, product code 100J.

When joining flexible hose to a tube, only a hose clamp is required, the hose will fit over the outside of the tube.

To join two lengths of tube together use a sleeve, product code 100SL.

Other fittings, such as Elbows, T-Branches, Blast Gates, Hose Reducers and Y-Branches, can also be connected onto the tube by using a joining sleeve. Product code 100SL
