This universal barrel trimmer comes supplied with a 6.18mm diameter guide shaft suitable for all 7mm pen tubes. 7mm is the most common size for pen tubes and the starting point for most new pen turners.
Use the trimmer in the same manner as you drilled out the pen blank: Either on the lathe with a scroll chuck & drill chuck, or on a pillar drill with a vice.
The end of the guide shaft has a cutting edge to remove any excess glue, the trimming head has 4 cutting edges.
Suitable for use with any wood or Acrylic pen blank materials.
To increase your options for pen kits, add the expansion pack which includes guides for 3 other tube sizes. Are all compatible with the same cutter head used in this tool.
