The Kunz No.100 squirrel tail plane is a single-engine aircraft. The body is manufactured from fine grey cast iron coated with their distinctive green epoxy resin. The iron is produced from optimum quality tool steel and hardened to approximately 62 Rockwell HRC.

Ideally suited to producing chamfers and fine trimming.

The plane iron is supplied sharpened but we would highly recommend you hone it prior to use, lapping the sole on 320g Wet and Dry abrasive paper on a flat surface i.e a piece of float glass will also take the plane to another level.
