Lapping the sole on 320g Wet and Dry abrasive paper on a flat surface will also take the plane to another level.

A bull nose rebate plane with open sides and flush iron.
Applications include the ability to trim rabbets on window stools, shave jamb stops on doors and align flats on scarf joints.
