Kanzawa K-303 Adjustable Forstner Boring Bit, 22mm – 50mm Diameter

Heavy duty adjustable forstner bit, manufactured in Japan by Kanzawa. It covers a wide range of hole diameters, taking away the need to have a complete set of cutters in your tool box.

The hole diameter can quickly be set by sliding the cutting head, which has metric graduations etched into it. The cutter is then locked, using the tool provided.

The prominent centre point guides the bit, keeping it true and accurate.

The outer scribe of the cutting head cuts a clean splinter-free edge, the flat section then uses a shearing action to effectively remove the bulk of the material.

This type of bit can be used for making both through holes and blind holes. When drilling a blind hole the bottom of the hole will be flat.

Can be used in a drill press, portable electric drill or a woodturning lathe.

Suitable for hard and soft wood.
