Charnwood BS410 10” Bench Top Bandsaw 4″ Cutting Depth – 370w

A bench top bandsaw with a 4” cutting depth capacity.

A compact woodworking bandsaw with a durable precision ground cast iron tilting table with a stop for returning to 90 degrees, after a bevel cut, and T shaped mitre fence slot. When working with larger pieces there is a sliding table extension support adding 100mm to the table width.

The quick release fence locks securely onto the front rail of the table to provide a rigid straight guide for ripping. A magnifier is included to aid accurate setting of the fence along the scale, marked out in mm. The fence can be fitted on either side of the blade.

The sliding mitre fence is adjustable 60 degrees in each direction, for crosscutting wood at any angle.

The rack & pinion blade guard design is adjusted by using a dial on the side of the machine. The blade is then guided by two side facing bearings and a rear thrust bearing attached to the end of the guard. The side bearings are mounted on an eccentric cam, for faster setting, and can be adjusted without using any tools. The same guide set up is repeated below the table giving maximum blade control and keeping the blade true when a straight cut is required.

A safety feature, rarely found on a bench top bandsaw, is the addition of micro switches on the doors to prevent accidental startup when changing a blade.

Replacing a worn blade, or switching to the blade you keep for curved work, has been sped up by adding a quick release tension lever. The lever removes all tension from the blade to quickly remove it from the bandsaw. When the new blade is in position, return the lever to add the tension.

Finished off with a durable powder coated paint finish.

Supplied with rip fence, mitre fence adjustable 60 degrees each way, 3/8″ high quality British made blade, NVR switch, 100mm diameter extraction outlet, push stick, 2.0m power cable and UK 3 pin plug.

Fixing holes are provided for mounting onto a bench.

This bench top bandsaw is fitted with a High Quality, British manufactured blade with precision ground teeth for incredible cutting results.

The primary use of this bench top bandsaw is for woodworking and the blade supplied is suitable for cutting both hard and soft woods. It is possible to use this bandsaw for cutting metal, but only with the correct blade fitted. (Not supplied)
