Fingernail Profiler Upgrade
Designed to aid the turner who has difficulty in sharpening his bowl and spindle gouges free hand. Typically problems which recur from free hand sharpening are the appearance of facets on the bevel leading to a less than perfect finish on the project.
For use with bench grinders and to be used with 446 to upgrade to a 447 deluxe system.

This simple upgrade kit includes the fingernail profiling arm, boss and cross bar. Slide the cross bar into place on your existing frame, drop the fingernail profiling arm into the boss and youre ready to go. The addition of the Long Grind jig (PELGJ) delivers further options to turners who want to extend the cutting edge profiles of bowl and spindle gouges.
