Industrial Grade Sliding Carriage
Designed with two unique preloaded V-shape ball bearing tracks which assures clearance-free moving accuracy and consistent smoothness along its travel. The travel length is 1500mm (60”) which then gives a maximum crosscutting capacity of 1240mm (48″). It can therefore handle a full size sheet of Plywood, MDF or Particleboard.
The surface area of the table measures 228mm x 1200mm (9″ x 47″), there is then an extension table 228mm x 600mm (9″ x 24″). The total table width is therefore 456mm which gives a good level of support from most panel work.
When not in use, the sliding carriage can be locked into a static position.
A support leg at each end, with adjustable feet, guarantees zero flex and deviation whatever the load.
Extremely Accurate Crosscut Mitre Fence
The Miter Fence System is designed with a rock-solid Fence Body with extension, a large and sturdy Half-Moon Indexing Gauge, and two Micro-adjustable Flip Stops.
All the main parts are made of 6061 Aluminum Alloy or Stainless Steel, and precision machined by CNC Machining Centers.
Positive Stops And Smart Trigger Lock
The miter indexing gauge has 7 positive stops with 0.02 degree angular accuracy. The smart trigger device requires only one finger to release the angle lock and rotate the fence to another angle.
In addition, the Compass-1500 Miter Gauge is equipped with a “Vernier Angle Setter” which allows fine angle tuning to 0.1 degree.
The built-in miter gauge has 7 Positive Stops: -60°, -45°, -22.5°, 0°, +22.5°, +45°, and +60°.
These preset angles automatically engage with precision thanks to the uniquely designed positive index system consisting of tapered grooves and a spherical locking pin.
Laser Etched Vernier Scale
The miter gauge can be manually set to any other angle you desire.
The laser etched vernier scale is a clear visual aid to take an accurate measurement reading within 0.1 degree, which allows for quick and precise angle adjustments.
Micro Adjustable Flip Stop
A Pair of Flip Stop Assemblies slide in a groove on top of the fence and can be locked anywhere along its length. Once locked in place, you can make micro adjustments in 0.02mm increments. The metric graduations are laser etched in a high contrast finish of white on black.
The crosscut fence is 1090mm in length with a pull out extension taking it up to 1500mm.
COMPASS AH-3T Arch Hold Down
The ST-1500 Sliding Table comes as standard with AH-3T Arch Hold Down which is inspired by the ancient wisdom of arched building structures.
Owing to the unique Arch structure, the AH-3T hold down is able to securely clamp a work piece in place with pure vertical pressure, without pressure deformation and without sideways stress on the central shaft, thus achieving the highest level of stability.
The arch hold down can be used in 2 modes, depending on the thickness of the material to be clamped.

The materials used Stainless Steel, 6061 T-6 Anodized Aluminum Alloy, and Brass (No plastic).
The Compass ST-1500 Sliding Table can be fitted to most other table saws with a cast iron top.
There are a series of pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate. Fitting the sliding table to a saw which does not have direct compatibility is simply a matter of selecting a convenient set of the pre-drilled holes and then drilling 3 corresponding holes into the side face of the main table of the table saw.
