This neat little gadget is a Spray Diffuser or sometimes known as a blowpipe.
Used extensively by the likes of Nick Agar and Mick Hanbury among others to apply Spirit Stains, these are simple to use ‘lung powered’ atomisers for spraying stains and also thin paints.
The diffuser is opened to 90 degrees and the long end goes into the stain. The mouthpiece is blown through drawing up the stain and spraying it onto the desired item.
It’s the product that everyone says ‘I’ve been looking for them for ages’.
