Although Cyanoacrylate super glues already have a fast setting time, typically 3 – 60 seconds, there may be occasions when an instant bond is required.
When using accelerator with an enclosed joint, spray Acti-mate onto one side of the joint and apply glue onto the other side. The bond will literally be instant and does not allow for re-positioning.
Woodturners may use accelerator after filling a large crack or gap, which takes longer to set. Acti-mate can be sprayed directly, but sparingly, onto the exposed glue for an instant set.
Penturners may use accelerator after using glue to create a high gloss finish on a pen.
Acti-Mate also reduces blooming and odour.
