Our high quality Scandinavian pattern Hook & Whittling knives have a finely ground and polished blade made from 1095 high carbon tool steel which is hardened to 58-62 Hrc.The handles are made from carefully selected Beech with a steel ferrule.

Hook or spoon knives as they are also known are very popular items with spoon carvers and green woodworkers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TOOL IS SUPPLIED WITH A FACTORY SHARP EDGE BUT WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU HONE IT ON A LEATHER STROP WITH THE APPROPRIATE COMPOUND TO ACHIEVE OPTIMUM CUTTING PERFORMANCE.
