ABR004 Aluminium Oxide Belt , 240grit , Compatible With Robert Sorby ProEdge PE240A

Produced in the UK, these high quality abrasive belts are fully compatible with the ever popular Robert Sorby ProEdge sharpening System.

Our belt materials are selected to offer the best combination of performance and durability and then assembled into 50mm x 780mm belts in the United Kingdom. The joint is angled and flush taped for the ultimate in reliability.

Aluminium Oxide abrasive is designed primarily to sharpen carbon steel bench chisels, carving tools and plane irons but will also hone harder high speed steel tools. The material longevity is at the lower end of the abrasives scale we use on our belts, but makes an excellent economical choice. Work your way through grit sizes (heavier grits for the removal of more material) to achieve a fine finish with a 240 grit.
