About Package Deal W692CF: 3hp Dust Extractor With Cartridge Filters

3HP Dust Extractor with 1 Micron Cartridge Filter Upgrade – SAVE £30

The largest extractor aimed at workshops where extraction is not continuously needed. These more powerful machines with larger diameter fans, give a higher flowrate per hour.
The two collection bags are filled together so that emptying is required less frequently. It can be used to collect from up to three machines simultaneously or attached to a system of branches and gates to be fitted around the workshop. Maximum recommended hose length per run is 10 metres @ 100mm diameter.

The standard cloth filtration bags are replaced with a cartridge to increase the filtration performance down to a super fine, 1 micron particle size. The extra deep pleats in the filter material, increase the surface area of the filter so that there is no loss in air flow compared to the original cloth filter.

This allows the extractor to be used for operations which produce very fine dust such as sanding and cutting MDF. The particle size of fine woodworking dust is generally between 2 and 3 microns. Research shows 99% of wood dust, produced by machining softwood, hardwood or MDF, is within that range. The extractor can still be used with all the normal workshop machines which produce dust and chips, such as: bandsaws, table saws, planers, thicknessers and spindle moulders.

To ensure a long life without any deterioration in performance the filter includes an internal cleaning device. Gently rotating the handles, moves the internal paddles which clean the inside of the filter and prevent clogging.

Supplied with 1 micron cartridge filters, transparent collection bags, durable steel fan, NVR switch, 4 castors, quick release metal straps, 3 way inlet and 1.6m power cable, 16 amp industrial plug.

A 16amp fixed electric supply is required to run this machine. We also recommend using a 16amp Type C breaker.

Hose is not supplied as standard, our 100mm diameter transparent hose is recommended, sold by the metre.

This extractor is intended for Light Trade use which means it has a maximum continuous running time of 2 hours, after which the motor must be rested and left to cool. If you need a longer duty cycle than this please look at our professional heavy duty range of extractors.

How Often Should The Filters Be Cleaned?
To maintain optimum performance, we recommend: Every time the extractor is turned off, or every 15 minutes during prolonged periods of running. It can be cleaned whilst the extractor is still running.

What Is A Cleaning Cycle?
Rotate the handle 2 full turns in each direction.

What Are The Symptoms Of  Clogged Filters?
1) Because the air cannot escape from inside the extractor there is a build up of pressure inside. Air will be forced out of joins and seals which are normally airtight. Dust might be seen leaking out from unexpected places.
2) There will be a significant drop in airflow, and therefore collection performance, of the extractor.

We also have a large range of accessories available for connecting your dust extractor to the dust producing machinery. Reducers to join the 100mm diameter hose to the smaller diameter outlets usually found on bench top machinery. Hoods to collect dust from machinery with no purpose made collection points.
