38mm Hose is most often used to connect power tools, mitre saws and smaller bench top machinery to an extractor
Smaller diameter hoses like this are better suited for use with a vacuum type extractor, where performance is not impacted by the restricted cross section area. When used with a high volume (bag type) dust extractor, the length of small diameter hose should be kept to a minimum to prevent performance loss.

Transparent dust extractor hose 38mm (1 1/2″) internal diameter.
38mm Hose is most often used to connect power tools, mitre saws and smaller bench top machinery to an extractor. When using it with a bag type high volume extractor, always try to keep the length of 38mm hose to a minimum. The extractors perform better with a larger diameter hose whenever possible.
We have now upgraded to a PU (Polyurethane) product which is 5 times stronger than the traditional PVC.
Its transparency enables blockages to be quickly identified and cleared.
The hose has a right handed, copper coated, steel wire helix to keep its strength and shape. Where static build up is an issue, the wire can be used to add grounding.
Priced per metre, we cut it to length for you.
Maximum single length is 10 metres, if you order more than 10 metres please specify how you would like it cutting in the Delivery instructions during checkout.
For example; Order is 12m, please send as 2 x 6m lengths.
Please note; The hose will be compressed during shipping. When unpacking hose please apply pressure to extend it out to full length before confirming the actual length. The hose is measured and cut in a fully extended position. When hose is simply laid on the floor it will contract and therefore measure shorter than its actual length.
